Juicy steak bites, garlic and herbs in one pan. Quick, flavorful dish ideal for summer dining.

# What You Need:

→ Steak & Marinade

01 - 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Aromatics & Herbs

06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
09 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

→ Optional Garnish

10 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# Directions:

01 - Combine sirloin cubes with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Toss thoroughly and allow to marinate for a minimum of 10 minutes at room temperature.
02 - Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high flame until hot.
03 - Arrange steak cubes in a single layer in the skillet. Work in batches if necessary to prevent overcrowding. Sear undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
04 - Reduce heat to medium. Push steak bites aside. Add unsalted butter and minced garlic to the pan, stirring for approximately 30 seconds or until aromatic.
05 - Toss steak bites with the melted garlic butter, then sprinkle with chopped parsley and thyme leaves.
06 - Plate immediately. Garnish with lemon wedges as desired.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The buttery garlic and herb finish tastes like you spent hours, but it&squot;s truly just minutes.
  • Everything cooks in one pan, which means almost no cleanup and more time to enjoy your meal.
02 -
  • If you crowd the pan, the steak won&apost;t brown — cook in batches for real sear.
  • Adding garlic too early results in burnt bits; timing is everything for flavor.
03 -
  • Letting the steak reach room temperature before cooking helps it brown and stay juicy.
  • Add the garlic at the very last moment for fragrance but no bitterness — it&apost;s a subtle but essential trick.
