# What You Need:
→ Citrus
01 - 3 large lemons, juiced (about 3/4 cup juice)
→ Roots & Spices
02 - 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
03 - 2-inch piece fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
04 - 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
→ Liquid
05 - 1 cup filtered water
→ Sweetener
06 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Add lemon juice, chopped ginger, chopped turmeric or ground turmeric, filtered water, black pepper, and sweetener if using to a blender.
02 - Blend on high speed for 60 to 90 seconds until the mixture reaches a smooth, uniform consistency.
03 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing gently to remove all pulp and sediment.
04 - Pour the strained liquid evenly into each compartment of an ice cube tray, filling to the brim.
05 - Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely solid.
06 - Pop out 2 cubes per serving and dissolve in warm water, blend into smoothies, or consume as a concentrated wellness shot.
